Vibmetil MD 5 tablets contain Prochlorperazine Maleate 5 mg for the control of severe nausea and vomiting. Main uses: control of severe nausea and vomiting; treatment of schizophrenia; short-term treatment of generalized non-psychotic anxiety, only when other treatments are not suitable; not more than 20 mg per day and not longer than 12 weeks, because higher doses or longer use can cause persistent tardive dyskinesia that may not reverse.

Common side effects of Vibmetil MD 5 Tablet include drowsiness; dizziness; blurred vision; low blood pressure on standing; skin reactions; muscle stiffness, restlessness or shaking (extrapyramidal symptoms). Get medical help at once if you notice neuroleptic malignant syndrome (high fever, muscle stiffness, altered consciousness); tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements of the face or body); jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes).
