About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Sultavib is a tablet formulation from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division. Each tablet contains Sultamicillin Tosilate 375 mg. The medicine belongs to the Antibiotic and Anti-Infective (Antibacterial) class. It is packed as 10x10 (Alu Strip).
Sultamicillin Tosilate is a combined antibacterial substance. Once taken, it breaks down in the body into two parts: ampicillin, which interferes with the building of the bacterial cell wall so that bacteria are unable to grow and multiply, and sulbactam, which blocks the enzyme called beta-lactamase that some bacteria produce to destroy ampicillin. Working together, the two parts allow the antibiotic to act against bacteria that would otherwise break it down.
Sultavib tablets are prescribed for bacterial infections such as those of the ear, nose and throat, the chest including bronchitis and pneumonia, the urinary tract, the skin and soft tissue, and the female genital area.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
