About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Telmivib CH (10 Pack) is a tablet medicine from Vibcare Pharma's C.U.R.E. division. Each tablet combines Telmisartan 40 mg and Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg. It belongs to the cardiovascular anti-hypertensive class, being a combination of an angiotensin II receptor blocker and a thiazide-like diuretic. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Telmisartan works by blocking angiotensin II at the AT1 receptor, so blood vessels relax and blood pressure is lowered. Chlorthalidone acts on the kidneys to increase the removal of sodium and water in the urine, which reduces blood volume and adds to the blood pressure lowering effect. The two ingredients act in different ways and together help control raised blood pressure.

Used for

These tablets are used for the treatment of high blood pressure, to lower blood pressure and support overall cardiovascular risk management.
