About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Terbivice 250 is a tablet that contains Terbinafine 250 mg as its single ingredient. It belongs to the allylamine class of anti-fungal medicines. The brand comes from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division and is packed as 10x1x7 (Blister).

How it works

Terbinafine in the tablet is an allylamine antifungal. It works against the dermatophyte fungi that take hold in the nail plate and cause the infection there. By acting on the fungus at the site of infection in the nail, the tablet supports clearing of the infection over the treatment period.

Used for

This product is used for onychomycosis of the toenail or fingernail caused by dermatophytes, also called tinea unguium, and a nail specimen should be confirmed by laboratory testing before treatment begins. Liver function should be checked before and during treatment, and terbinafine should be discontinued if liver injury develops. If taste or smell changes appear, a doctor should be told at once and the medicine should be discontinued, as these changes may be prolonged or permanent. Depressive symptoms, skin rash or a low neutrophil count also need medical attention.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
