Stocold Plus Syrup relieves common cold symptoms like stuffy nose, runny nose, fever and body ache. Main uses: temporary relief of runny nose and sneezing due to the common cold; temporary relief of nasal congestion; temporary relief of minor aches and pains and headache; temporary relief of sore throat pain; reduction of fever.

Common side effects of Stocold Plus Syrup include drowsiness and sleepiness; dizziness; dry mouth, nose or throat; blurred vision; constipation; nausea or upset stomach. Get medical help at once if you notice severe skin reactions such as skin reddening, blisters or rash; severe liver damage from taking too much Paracetamol; rapid or irregular heartbeat.

Stocold Plus Syrup contains Phenylephrine 5 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 1 mg + Paracetamol 125 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Stocold Plus Syrup only as your doctor advises.

Three ingredients work in different ways. Phenylephrine relieves a stuffy nose by easing swelling in the nasal passages. Chlorpheniramine Maleate helps with sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes. Paracetamol lowers fever and relieves headache, sore throat and body aches.

Must not be used together with any other medicine that contains Paracetamol, prescription or non-prescription. Must not be used if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for 2 weeks after stopping an MAOI. Must not be used if you have had an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients. Must not be used by anyone who drinks 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day, as severe liver damage may occur with Paracetamol. Check with a doctor first if you have liver disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or asthma, in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or before giving it to a child below 2 years.
