Read our full guide: Aceclofenac and paracetamol: uses, dose, side effects and brands

Description

Vibcare Pharma offers Apofec (AA) as a tablet. In every tablet, the two ingredients are Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. The product is grouped as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID). The brand is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and is marketed by Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division.

How it works

Aceclofenac and paracetamol play different roles inside the tablet. Aceclofenac, an NSAID, lowers the chemical messengers that cause pain, redness, swelling and stiffness where a joint is inflamed or tissue is injured. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, acts on pain and temperature centres, so it eases pain and reduces fever. The single tablet thus covers the inflammatory side of the complaint along with pain and raised temperature.

Used for

Pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis are the main reasons Apofec (AA) is used, along with short-term relief of back pain, dental pain, muscle pain and painful periods.
