Vivonac Plus is a tablet made by Vibcare Pharma and supplied from its Evermed division, packed as 10x2x10 (Blister). The formulation holds Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, Cetirizine 10 mg, Phenylephrine 5 mg and Caffeine 25 mg, and it is classed as a pain and cold relief medicine.
Each ingredient has its own job in the tablet. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves aches, and aceclofenac is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever for pain and swelling. Phenylephrine eases nasal congestion by shrinking swollen nasal passages, while cetirizine, an antihistamine, relieves runny nose, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes. Caffeine helps restore mental alertness or wakefulness when fatigue or drowsiness is felt. Since cetirizine may cause drowsiness, alcoholic drinks should be avoided and care is needed while driving or using machinery.
People use these tablets for headache, body ache, muscular aches, toothache, fever, runny nose, sneezing, itchy watery eyes and nasal congestion during a cold.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
