Amlovib 10 tablets contain Amlodipine 10mg and are used to lower high blood pressure and to manage angina. Main uses: lowers high blood pressure; long-term management of chronic stable angina (chest pain on exertion); management of vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina; angina and blood pressure control in patients with coronary artery disease.

Common side effects of Amlovib 10 Tablet include swelling of the feet and ankles (peripheral oedema); dizziness or light-headedness; flushing and headache; tiredness and sleepiness; palpitations (awareness of heartbeat); stomach pain, nausea or indigestion. Get medical help at once if you notice very low blood pressure; severely slow or rapid heartbeat; worsening chest pain or heart attack shortly after starting treatment.

Amlodipine acts by slowing the movement of calcium into the muscle cells of the blood vessels and the heart.
