Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division, Moxyhil CV 625 LB is a tablet combining three ingredients: Amoxycillin 500 mg, Potassium Clavulanate 125 mg and Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 Million Spores. The product belongs to the penicillin antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) class and is packed as 10x1x10 (Alu Strip).

How it works

Amoxycillin stops sensitive bacteria from building their cell walls. Potassium Clavulanate disables the beta-lactamase enzymes, keeping amoxycillin active against bacteria that produce them. Lactic Acid Bacillus is a friendly probiotic bacterium that helps maintain the normal bacterial balance of the intestine during antibiotic therapy.

  • Must not be used by anyone with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice or liver dysfunction linked to amoxicillin and clavulanate
  • Must not be used in patients with mononucleosis, as these patients develop skin rash
