About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Cedojem CV comes as a tablet for oral administration. Every tablet contains Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. The medicine is a cephalosporin antibacterial combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It is packed as 10x1x6 (Alu Alu) and supplied from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division.
The two parts of the tablet play different roles. Cefuroxime Axetil damages the way bacteria build and maintain their cell wall, preventing susceptible bacteria from multiplying. Clavulanic Acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes that certain bacteria release to inactivate antibiotics, and in doing so it supports the antibacterial action of cefuroxime.
Cedojem CV is used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including pharyngitis and tonsillitis, acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections and uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
