About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Clarivib 500 is an oral tablet formulation from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. Each tablet contains Clarithromycin 500 mg, and the product belongs to the macrolide antibiotic (antibacterial) class. It is packed as 10x10 (Blister).

How it works

Clarithromycin 500 mg is the single active ingredient in every tablet of Clarivib 500. It is a macrolide antibiotic that acts by stopping bacteria from making the proteins they need to multiply, which slows and stops the growth of the infecting bacteria. The medicine is meant only for infections caused by bacteria that are proven or strongly suspected to be the cause.
