Vibclop SF 6% is a clobetasol and salicylic acid ointment used for scaly, thickened skin in psoriasis and hyperkeratotic conditions. Main uses: scaling and thickened patches of psoriasis; hyperkeratotic (thick, scaly) areas of skin where a strong steroid is needed; chronic scaly dermatoses with marked dryness and flaking; softening of hard, flaky skin before and during steroid application.

Common side effects of Vibclop SF 6% Ointment include burning or stinging at the site of application; itching or irritation of the treated skin; dryness of the skin; redness; folliculitis or acne-like eruptions; changes in skin colour (lightening) at the site of use. Get medical help at once if you notice thinning of the skin and visible small blood vessels with prolonged use; suppression of the body's natural steroid production when used over large areas or for long periods; raised blood sugar or unmasking of latent diabetes with heavy long-term use.
