Defdoze 6 tablets contain Deflazacort 6 mg, a corticosteroid used for Duchenne muscular dystrophy in patients 5 years and older. Main uses: treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in patients 5 years of age and older; given under a doctor's supervision as a corticosteroid medicine; the exact way it helps in DMD is not known.

Common side effects of Defdoze 6 Tablet include cushingoid appearance (moon-shaped face); weight gain; increased appetite; central obesity; frequent urination (pollakiuria); unwanted facial or body hair growth (hirsutism). Get medical help at once if you notice severe allergic reaction, including anaphylaxis; serious infections, including new, worsening or reactivated latent infections; signs and symptoms of an infection may be masked; cushing's syndrome, suppression of the adrenal gland and high blood sugar.
