About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Dicover P tablets are an analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) product, each tablet holding Diclofenac 50 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. The product comes in a 10x2x10 (Blister) pack and is marketed from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

The Diclofenac in the tablet acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the tissues, which lowers pain and inflammation at the site. Paracetamol gives its effect through the central nervous system, calming pain signals and bringing down raised body temperature. Together they address both the ache and the inflammation that goes with it.

Used for

This medicine is used for relief of mild to moderate pain, primary dysmenorrhea, the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, and to reduce fever. As with other NSAIDs, there is a risk of heart attack or stroke and of bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the stomach or intestine, and these events can be fatal, so the lowest effective dose is used for the shortest duration.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
