Read our full guide: Disodium hydrogen citrate syrup: uses and brands
Vibtral Syrup (womc) is an oral syrup formulation of Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 1.40 gm. It is a urinary alkaliniser from the urology and renal range, supplied in a 100ml pack from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.
Inside the body, the disodium hydrogen citrate in this syrup works as a citrate salt that raises the pH of the urine. When the urine turns more alkaline, it supports the body in conditions where less acidic urine is required.
The syrup is used for alkalising the urine and as supportive therapy alongside other medicines in urinary tract infections, renal tubular acidosis and uric acid stone problems.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
