Gelojem MPS Suspension (womc) is an antacid and antiflatulent suspension for relief of heartburn, acidity and bloating. Main uses: relief of heartburn and burning in the chest or throat due to acid; relief of acid indigestion and sour belching; relief of gastric hyperacidity and stomach discomfort after meals; relief of bloating, flatulence and abdominal fullness due to trapped gas.

Common side effects of Gelojem MPS Suspension include constipation, mainly from the aluminium hydroxide; loose stools or mild diarrhoea, mainly from the magnesium hydroxide; stomach cramps or abdominal discomfort; nausea; chalky taste in the mouth; increased thirst or dry mouth. Get medical help at once if you notice very hard stools or difficulty in passing stools that does not settle; severe abdominal pain or vomiting; signs of high magnesium levels such as weakness or muscle problems in people with kidney disease.
