About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Haemovib Syrup from Vibcare Pharma is an oral haematinic syrup containing Ferric Ammonium Citrate 160 mg, Cyanocobalamin 7.5 mcg, Folic Acid 0.5 mg, Cupric Sulphate 30 mcg and Manganese Sulphate 30 mcg. It belongs to the haematinic and anti-anaemic class and is packed as 200ml. This product comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Ferric Ammonium Citrate supplies iron, which the body uses to make haemoglobin and carry oxygen in red blood cells. Cyanocobalamin provides vitamin B12 for healthy red blood cells and nerves, while Folic Acid helps in forming red blood cells and genetic material. Cupric Sulphate and Manganese Sulphate give trace minerals that support normal blood formation and the body's use of iron.

Used for

Haemovib Syrup is used for iron deficiency anaemia and nutritional anaemia linked with poor diet, blood loss or slow recovery after illness. Keep out of reach of children under 6 years; accidental iron overdose can be fatal in young children, so call a doctor or poison control centre immediately if it occurs.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
