Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, rash, raised liver enzymes., Less common or serious: liver injury (rarely severe), QT prolongation and abnormal heart rhythm, severe skin reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), low potassium, seizures, dizziness, anaphylaxis., Fluconazole inhibits liver enzymes and raises the levels of warfarin, phenytoin, sulfonylureas, ciclosporin, some statins and benzodiazepines; it must not be given with cisapride, erythromycin, pimozide, quinidine or other drugs that prolong the QT interval., Not for use in known allergy to azoles, in pregnancy (especially high or repeated doses) unless the specialist advises, or with the interacting drugs named above.

Oropharyngeal and oesophageal candidiasis , Candiduria and other mucosal candida infections , Dermatophyte skin infections (tinea corporis, cruris, pedis) and pityriasis versicolor where oral treatment is required , Prevention of candida infection in immunocompromised patients, as prescribed
