VIGLIM 2 GLIMEPIRIDE 2mg. IP

Viglim 2 tablets contain Glimepiride 2 mg and are used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. Main uses: used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Common side effects of Viglim 2 Tablet include low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia); headache; dizziness; nausea; weakness (asthenia). Get medical help at once if you notice severe hypoglycaemia; haemolytic anaemia in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency; allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, angioedema and Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Each Viglim 2 tablet contains Glimepiride 2 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Viglim 2 Tablet only as your doctor advises.

Must not be used in patients who have had an allergic reaction to sulfonamide derivatives.
