Tretovib 10 capsules contain Isotretinoin 10 mg, used for severe nodular acne that has not improved with other treatment. Main uses: treatment of severe recalcitrant nodular acne in non-pregnant patients 12 years of age and older; for acne with multiple inflammatory nodules of 5 mm or greater; reserved for patients who have not responded to conventional therapy, including systemic antibiotics; clinical improvement is linked to a reduction in sebum (skin oil) secretion.

Common side effects of Tretovib 10 Capsule include dry lips; chapped lips; dry skin; dry eyes; back pain; joint pain (arthralgia). Get medical help at once if you notice severe, life-threatening birth defects if pregnancy occurs during treatment; depression, psychosis, suicidal thoughts or aggressive behaviour; inflammation of the pancreas (acute pancreatitis).

Isotretinoin is a retinoid that lowers the activity of the oil (sebaceous) glands in the skin and affects how skin cells grow and shed.
