About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Telmivib MCT 50 is a tablet containing Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg, Telmisartan 40 mg and Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg. It belongs to the Cardiovascular range of anti-hypertensive medicines and is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu). This product is from Vibcare Pharma.

How it works

Metoprolol Tartrate works as a beta-blocker, slowing the heart rate and easing the heart's workload. Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that tightens blood vessels, so the vessels relax. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that helps the kidneys remove extra salt and water from the body. Working together, the three ingredients lower blood pressure.
