Description

Nimolam Plus is a tablet supplied by Vibcare Pharma. Each tablet carries Nimesulide 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, Phenylephrine 10 mg and Caffeine 25 mg. This cough and cold tablet is packed as 10x2x10 (Blister) and is available from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

The tablet combines four actions. Nimesulide works as an anti-inflammatory pain reliever for pain and fever. Paracetamol brings down fever and relieves aches. Phenylephrine shrinks swollen vessels in the nasal passage so the nose feels clearer. Caffeine helps restore mental alertness or wakefulness when fatigue or drowsiness is felt during a cold.

Used for

It is used for temporary relief of cold symptoms, mainly nasal and sinus congestion, headache, minor aches and pains such as body and muscular aches, and fever. Use is also ruled out for people with liver disease or impaired liver function, children under 12 years, women who are breastfeeding, and the third trimester of pregnancy.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.

Do not use

  • Must not be used by anyone allergic to nimesulide, paracetamol, phenylephrine, caffeine or any other ingredient of the tablet
  • Must not be used with any other medicine that contains paracetamol (prescription or non-prescription)
  • Must not be used if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for 2 weeks after stopping one
  • Must not be used by people with liver disease or impaired liver function, by children under 12 years of age, by women who are breastfeeding, or during the third trimester of pregnancy
