Description

Nimovib Plus tablets from Vibcare Pharma contain Nimesulide 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, Phenylephrine 10 mg and Caffeine 25 mg. It is a cough and cold tablet, packed as 10x2x10 (Blister), from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Nimesulide is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever that eases pain, swelling and fever. Paracetamol also relieves pain and lowers fever. Phenylephrine narrows the swollen blood vessels in the nose and eases congestion. Caffeine helps restore mental alertness when a cold leaves you tired or drowsy.

Used for

The tablets are used for temporary relief of cold symptoms such as nasal congestion and stuffiness, headache, body aches and fever.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.

Do not use

  • Must not be used by anyone allergic to nimesulide, paracetamol, phenylephrine, caffeine or any other ingredient of the tablet
  • Must not be used with any other medicine that contains paracetamol (prescription or non-prescription)
  • Must not be used if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for 2 weeks after stopping one
  • Must not be used by people with liver disease or impaired liver function, by children under 12 years of age, by women who are breastfeeding, or during the third trimester of pregnancy
