Olmivib H 20 tablets contain olmesartan 20 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg and are used to lower high blood pressure. Main uses: treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) to lower blood pressure; used when blood pressure is not controlled by a single medicine; not for starting treatment of high blood pressure; lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack; control of blood pressure should be part of overall heart risk management, including diet, exercise and salt restriction.

Common side effects of Olmivib H 20 Tablet include nausea; dizziness; high uric acid in the blood; upper respiratory infection; headache; tiredness. Get medical help at once if you notice very low blood pressure, especially in patients short of salt or fluid; kidney problems or changes in blood potassium and sodium levels; acute short-sightedness and sudden angle-closure glaucoma.

Must not be used by patients allergic to olmesartan, hydrochlorothiazide or any other ingredient. Must not be used in patients with anuria (no urine formation). Must not be used together with aliskiren in patients with diabetes.
