Olmivib H 40 tablets contain olmesartan 40 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg and are used to lower high blood pressure. Main uses: treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), to lower blood pressure; used as add-on therapy when blood pressure is not controlled on one medicine alone; lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack; part of overall cardiovascular risk management along with diet, exercise and other measures advised by the doctor.

Common side effects of Olmivib H 40 Tablet include nausea; dizziness; headache; hyperuricemia (raised uric acid in the blood); upper respiratory infection; tiredness or weakness. Get medical help at once if you notice fetal injury and death if used during pregnancy; severe low blood pressure in patients who are volume or salt depleted; impaired kidney function and electrolyte imbalance.
