Description

Rabevib DSR Plus is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. Every capsule carries Rabeprazole 40 mg together with Domperidone 30 mg. It falls in the class of a proton pump inhibitor combined with a prokinetic and anti-emetic agent. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Inside the capsule, Rabeprazole acts on the acid pump present on the surface of the stomach lining cells and lowers the acid produced in the stomach, which allows inflamed tissue to settle and eases heartburn. Domperidone works on the gut wall and the brain's vomiting centre; it improves the forward movement of food through the stomach and helps control nausea, vomiting, bloating and a feeling of fullness caused by slow stomach emptying.

Used for

Doctors prescribe this capsule for acid reflux disease where heartburn and acid regurgitation come with nausea, vomiting, bloating or slow stomach emptying, including erosive or ulcerative GERD and symptomatic GERD.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
