Description

Rabevib IT is a capsule made by Vibcare Pharma for acid reflux and indigestion. Every capsule contains Rabeprazole 20 mg and Itopride 150 mg. It falls under the class of proton pump inhibitor with prokinetic and anti-emetic action. The pack is 10x10 (Alu Alu), from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Rabeprazole acts on the acid pump of the stomach lining and lowers acid output, which gives relief from heartburn and helps the food pipe or an ulcer to heal. Itopride blocks dopamine D2 receptors and slows the breakdown of acetylcholine, so the stomach muscles contract well and empty in a normal way. This helps with fullness, bloating and nausea.

Used for

The capsule is used for acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease with heartburn and regurgitation, for duodenal ulcers, and for indigestion symptoms like stomach fullness, bloating, nausea and slow emptying.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
