About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Rosuvib F 10/145 is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma that carries Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Fenofibrate 145 mg in one unit. It falls in the lipid-lowering class of medicines, used for cholesterol and triglyceride management. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and is supplied by Vibcare Pharma.

How it works

Rosuvastatin stops the liver enzyme HMG-CoA reductase from making cholesterol, which lowers LDL cholesterol in the blood. Fenofibrate works through PPAR-alpha activation to speed the breakdown and clearance of triglyceride-rich particles and to raise HDL cholesterol. Taking fenofibrate along with a statin increases the risk of muscle problems (myopathy and rhabdomyolysis), so any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness must be reported to the doctor at once.

Used for

These tablets are used as an adjunct to diet to lower LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein B and to raise HDL cholesterol in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia, and for adults with severe hypertriglyceridemia.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
