About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Rosuvib F 10/160 is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma. Each tablet contains Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Fenofibrate 160 mg. It belongs to the lipid-lowering class of medicines (a statin and a fibrate). The pack is 10x10 (Alu Alu) and it comes from Vibcare Pharma's C U R E division.

How it works

Rosuvastatin blocks HMG-CoA reductase, the liver enzyme that makes cholesterol, so LDL cholesterol falls. Fenofibrate activates PPAR-alpha and speeds the removal of triglyceride-rich particles from the blood, lowering triglycerides, total cholesterol and apolipoprotein B and raising HDL cholesterol. Since a fibrate is used with a statin, the risk of muscle problems such as myopathy and rhabdomyolysis is higher than with either one alone.

Used for

These tablets are used with diet in adults to lower raised LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein B, to raise HDL cholesterol in primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia, and in severe hypertriglyceridemia. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
