Sachovib L Sachet is used for managing acute diarrhoea along with oral rehydration. Main uses: adjunctive management of acute diarrhoea along with oral rehydration; helps reduce the number of loose stools in acute diarrhoea; helps limit loss of water and electrolytes from the gut; supports a healthy balance of gut flora during a diarrhoeal episode; provides zinc support during diarrhoeal illness.

Common side effects of Sachovib L Sachet include nausea; abdominal pain; vomiting; constipation; headache; dizziness. Get medical help at once if you notice swelling of the face, lips or tongue with difficulty breathing (allergic reaction); severe skin rash; blood infection caused by the yeast in very ill or immunocompromised patients (rare).

Racecadotril acts by cutting down the excess flow of water and electrolytes into the gut, so the stools become less loose while normal bowel movement is not disturbed. Saccharomyces Boulardii is a probiotic yeast that helps keep the gut flora in balance and supports the intestinal lining. Zinc Lactate adds zinc, a mineral needed for the lining of the intestine and for normal immune function.

Must not be used by anyone allergic to Racecadotril, Saccharomyces Boulardii, Zinc Lactate or any other ingredient of the sachet. Must not be used in patients who have a central venous catheter, as the yeast can enter the bloodstream from it.
