About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Sacuvib 50 from Vibcare Pharma is a tablet that contains Sacubitril 50 mg and Valsartan 26 mg. It belongs to the angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) class of cardiovascular medicines. Each strip comes packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu). The product is supplied from Vibcare Pharma's C.U.R.E. division.

How it works

The two ingredients act in different ways on the same body system. Sacubitril works by blocking the enzyme neprilysin through its active form, so the body's own natriuretic peptides stay active for longer and support the heart and kidneys. Valsartan blocks the angiotensin II type-1 receptor, which relaxes blood vessels, lowers the work the heart has to do and also reduces angiotensin II-driven aldosterone release. Together they ease the strain of heart failure on the circulation.

Sacuvib 50 is used to lower the risk of heart-related death and hospital stays in adults with long-term heart failure, with the benefit seen more clearly in patients whose pumping fraction (LVEF) is below normal.
