About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Telmilux AM is a tablet of the cardiovascular anti-hypertensive class, each one giving Telmisartan 40 mg and Amlodipine 5 mg. It is produced by Vibcare Pharma, available through the Medanor division, and packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Telmisartan in the tablet blocks angiotensin II at its receptor, so blood vessels are no longer tightened and they relax. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, adds to this by easing the squeeze on the vessel walls and widening them. The combined effect is a fall in blood pressure.
