About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Telmivib CC 6.25 is presented as tablets containing Telmisartan 40 mg, Chlorthalidone 6.25 mg and Cilnidipine 10 mg. It belongs to the cardiovascular anti-hypertensive group and is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu). This product is from Vibcare Pharma's division.

How it works

Three ingredients act in different ways on blood pressure. Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II at its receptor so blood vessels relax. Chlorthalidone works on the kidneys to remove extra salt and water, which lowers blood volume. Cilnidipine limits calcium entry into vessel walls so they widen. Together they reduce the force of blood against artery walls.

Used for

The tablets are used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and to reduce the risk of heart and blood vessel events. Concomitant use with an ACE inhibitor should be avoided. Volume or salt depletion must be corrected before treatment begins, and a doctor should be consulted first in severe kidney or liver disease.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
