About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Cortenzo 40 Injection is a corticosteroid (steroid) injection made by Vibcare Pharma. Each injection provides Triamcinolone Acetonide 40 mg. It is packed as 1's and is offered under Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

It works by lowering the body's immune and inflammatory response. Triamcinolone acetonide reduces swelling, redness and allergic reactions where these are severe and have not responded to usual treatment.

Used for

It is also indicated for serious skin conditions such as pemphigus and bullous dermatitis herpetiformis, certain endocrine and blood disorders, and a short course in regional enteritis and ulcerative colitis. Epidural use of corticosteroids is not an approved route and has caused serious neurologic events including paralysis and stroke.

Given only by a doctor or nurse.
