About the product

Description

A medication that addresses liver and bile duct pathologies. (Krupa) A potent farnesoid X receptor agonist for the treatment of liver diseases namely, primary biliary cholangitis. (Bethesda) Suppresses bile acid synthesis in the liver and hepatic damage caused by primary biliary cholangitis. (Susan M. Smith, 2017) Protects against the toxic accumulation of bile acids in the liver and facilitates hepatic regeneration. (Palak J Trivedi, 2016) Exerts significant anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic activities, and inhibits the processes of liver inflammation. (Ludovico Abenavoli, 2018) Lessens the markers of liver inflammation and fibrosis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Provides an effective therapeutic option for patients with primary biliary cholangitis in the absence of ursodeoxycholic acid. (Kris V. Kowdley, 2018) Reduces serum alkaline phosphatase in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis. Represents a promising treatment for patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. (Evangelia Makri, 2016) The most potent farnesoid X receptor agonist with about 100‐fold greater potency than chenodeoxycholic acid. (Yuanyuan Zhang, 2017) An alternative treatment for patients who are unable to tolerate ursodeoxycholic acid with primary biliary cholangitis. (Susan M. Smith, 2017) Reduces elevated levels of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis who had inadequate responses to ursodeoxycholic acid.
