About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division, Pantalam D is a tablet that provides Pantoprazole 40 mg together with Domperidone 10 mg. It sits in the proton pump inhibitor plus prokinetic and anti-emetic class and is supplied as a 10x15 (Alu Alu) pack.

How it works

How the tablet helps is a two-step action. Pantoprazole binds to the acid pumps of the stomach lining and switches off acid secretion, giving the damaged food pipe time to heal and heartburn time to settle. Domperidone handles the motion side, assisting normal stomach emptying and quieting the vomiting centre to relieve nausea, vomiting and bloating.

Used for

The tablets are for short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis associated with reflux disease, for heartburn and acid regurgitation along with nausea, and for fullness and bloating with slow emptying; long-term acid suppression is a pantoprazole-only indication.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
