About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Available as tablets for oral use, Pantavib D brings together Pantoprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 10 mg in one formulation. The product falls in the proton pump inhibitor plus prokinetic and anti-emetic class and is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu). It is marketed by Vibcare Pharma under the Prima division.

How it works

Pantoprazole in the tablet reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes by blocking the acid pump, and this helps heal the inflamed food pipe and ease heartburn. Domperidone adds support by helping the stomach empty normally and by calming the vomiting centre, so nausea, vomiting and bloating are kept in check.

Used for

Meant for short-term use, this medicine helps in erosive esophagitis linked to gastroesophageal reflux disease, for heartburn and acid regurgitation with nausea, and for fullness and bloating with slow stomach emptying; long-term acid suppression is a pantoprazole-only indication. Speak to a doctor first in kidney problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
