Description

Pantojem D is an oral tablet that carries Pantoprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 10 mg. It belongs to the proton pump inhibitor plus prokinetic and anti-emetic group and is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu). This product comes from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division.

How it works

Inside each tablet, pantoprazole acts on the acid pumps in the stomach lining so that less acid is made and the food pipe gets a chance to settle. Domperidone works on the gut and the vomiting centre to speed up stomach emptying and hold back nausea, vomiting and fullness.

Used for

These tablets are used for short-term relief in erosive esophagitis with reflux disease, heartburn, acid regurgitation and the nausea or bloating that go with it; long-term acid suppression is a pantoprazole-only indication. QT-prolonging drugs and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors must be avoided.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
