A broad-spectrum anthelmintic or anti-worm drug that addresses a wide range of intestinal helminths including cestodes, nematodes, trematodes, protozoans. (Jong-Yil Chai, 2021) A preferred benzimidazole derivative for mass treatment of multiple infections with Ascaris, hookworm, and Trichuris.
