Acrimol MR (blister) tablets are used for relief of pain, swelling and muscle spasm in musculoskeletal conditions. Main uses: relief of pain, swelling and stiffness in musculoskeletal conditions; relief of discomfort in acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions such as sprains and strains; backache and low back pain; soft-tissue injury pain and stiffness; muscle spasm and related discomfort, along with rest and physical therapy.

Common side effects of Acrimol MR Tablet include nausea or vomiting; stomach pain, indigestion or discomfort in the abdomen; drowsiness; dizziness or lightheadedness; loss of appetite; constipation or diarrhoea. Get medical help at once if you notice severe liver injury, including rare hepatocellular toxicity reported with chlorzoxazone; severe skin reactions such as reddening, rash or blisters; stomach or intestinal bleeding or ulcer.

Each Acrimol MR tablet contains Aceclofenac 100 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Chlorzoxazone 250 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Acrimol MR Tablet only as your doctor advises.

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces the body chemicals causing pain, swelling and stiffness. Paracetamol relieves pain and brings down fever. Chlorzoxazone works on the central nervous system to ease the discomfort of muscle spasm and is meant to be used with rest and physical therapy; it does not directly relax skeletal muscles.

Must not be used by anyone allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, chlorzoxazone or any ingredient of the tablet. Must not be used with any other medicine containing paracetamol or acetaminophen. Must not be used by patients with known intolerance to chlorzoxazone. Must not be used in active or recurrent peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding. Must not be used in the third trimester of pregnancy.
