Description

Tablets called Apofec MR (blister) are supplied by Vibcare Pharma from its Auspin division. Every tablet holds Aceclofenac 100mg, Paracetamol 325mg and Chlorzoxazone 250mg. This is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) combination, packed as 10x10 (Blister).

How it works

The three ingredients act in different ways. Paracetamol eases pain and reduces fever. Aceclofenac, an NSAID, lowers the chemicals that lead to pain, swelling and stiffness in the affected area. Chlorzoxazone acts within the central nervous system to ease discomfort from muscle spasm, as an addition to rest and physical therapy, rather than by relaxing skeletal muscles directly.

Used for

Apofec MR (blister) is used to relieve pain, swelling and stiffness of the muscles and joints in sprains, strains, backache and soft-tissue injuries, and to reduce fever. Chlorzoxazone must be stopped and a physician consulted immediately if signs of liver injury such as fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, right upper quadrant pain, dark urine or jaundice occur, or if liver enzymes become abnormal.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
