Description

Thiofol A4 comes as tablets from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division. Every tablet is made with Aceclofenac 100 mg and Thiocolchicoside 4 mg. This product falls in the pain and inflammation reliever with a muscle relaxant class. It is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

The tablet works in two ways. Aceclofenac is an NSAID that acts at the site of injury to reduce the formation of prostaglandins, the substances responsible for pain and swelling. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that reduces spasm and stiffness by its action on the muscles and spinal cord. The relaxed muscle then puts less strain on the painful area.

Used for

Thiofol A4 is meant for pain and swelling of the musculoskeletal system, for low back pain with spasm, and for painful muscle contractions after sprains and strains. Painkiller-triggered asthma also rules out its use. Pregnancy and breastfeeding rule out its use, and women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
