About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division, Broxomed DX Syrup is an oral syrup in the Cough & Cold class. It contains Ambroxol 15 mg, Guaiphenesin 50 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg, Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg and Menthol 1 mg, and is packed as 100ml.

How it works

The way it works rests on five simple actions. Ambroxol makes mucus thinner and Guaiphenesin loosens phlegm so that secretions can drain from the bronchial tubes. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide eases the urge to cough by acting on the cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine Maleate relieves the allergy signs of runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes, while Menthol produces a cooling sensation in the throat.
