About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Broxovic DX Syrup is an oral syrup from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. It combines Ambroxol 15 mg, Guaiphenesin 50 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg, Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg and Menthol 1 mg. The syrup falls in the Cough & Cold class and is packed as 100ml.
In this syrup, Ambroxol and Guaiphenesin act together on mucus, thinning it and loosening phlegm so that secretions drain from the bronchial tubes. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide works on the cough centre in the brain to calm the urge to cough. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antihistamine that settles runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes, while Menthol brings a cooling feel in the throat.
The syrup is used to temporarily relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold, and to ease runny nose, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes from hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
