About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Lumijem tablets are made by Vibcare Pharma and supplied from its Auspin division. Every tablet carries Artemether 80 mg and Lumefantrine 480 mg in an antimalarial combination. The tablets come packed as 10x6 (Blister).

How it works

In this pair, artemether is the ingredient that acts on the malaria parasite early and lowers the parasite count in the blood. Lumefantrine stays active for a longer time and removes the parasites that remain after that, which also helps keep the infection from returning. The two are combined in the ratio of 1:6.
