About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Ceftacab 1GM Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic injection from Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division. It contains Ceftriaxone 1gm as its active ingredient. The product is packed as 1's and is given by injection under the supervision of a doctor or trained nurse.

How it works

The active ingredient disturbs the cell wall of susceptible bacteria, and the bacteria then die. As the medicine is injected, it is absorbed into the body and acts where the infection is present. Its action covers bacteria that testing shows to be sensitive to ceftriaxone.
