About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Touxvib DMR is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division, packed as 10x10 (Alu Strip). Each tablet carries Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg, Phenylephrine 5 mg and Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg. It belongs to the cough and cold class of medicines.
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide works on the cough centre in the brain and lowers the urge to cough. Phenylephrine narrows the swollen blood vessels in the nose, so the nasal passages open up. Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks the action of histamine and brings down sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes, and also helps dry up nasal secretions.
The tablets are used for temporary relief of symptoms of the common cold, hay fever and other respiratory allergies, such as runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, itchy watery eyes, nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation.
Read the label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
