Touxlam DMR tablets ease cold and allergy symptoms including cough, sneezing, runny nose and blocked nose. Main uses: temporary relief of symptoms of the common cold; temporary relief of symptoms of hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and other respiratory allergies; runny nose; sneezing and itching of the nose or throat; itchy, watery eyes.

Common side effects of Touxlam DMR Tablet include drowsiness or marked sleepiness; dry mouth; excitability, especially in children; dizziness; nervousness; sleeplessness. Get medical help at once if you notice allergic reaction such as rash, hives or swelling of the face; rapid or irregular heartbeat or a rise in blood pressure; difficulty in passing urine.

Each Touxlam DMR tablet contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Touxlam DMR Tablet only as your doctor advises.

Each Touxlam DMR tablet contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg. It comes in a pack of 10x10 (Alu Strip).

In this combination, Phenylephrine shrinks the swollen lining of the nose to ease congestion. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide acts on the cough centre in the brain and lessens the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine Maleate, an antihistamine, calms sneezing, itching and watery eyes caused by histamine, and dries up nasal discharge.

Must not be used if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Must not be used together with sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting a doctor. Must not be used, unless directed by a doctor, if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Must not be used, unless directed by a doctor, if you have a persistent or chronic cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus).
