About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Dicover MR is a tablet that carries Diclofenac 50 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg and Chlorzoxazone 250 mg in each unit. Classed as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) product, it is packed as 10x2x10 (Blister) and comes from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

Pain and inflammation are eased by Diclofenac, which lowers prostaglandin production in the tissues, since prostaglandins sensise nerves and act as mediators of inflammation. Paracetamol works on the pain and heat centres to relieve aches and bring down fever. Chlorzoxazone brings relief from the discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions; it does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles, and its action may be related to its sedative properties.

Used for

Dicover MR is used for relief of mild to moderate pain, of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, of primary dysmenorrhea, and of fever, and is also used as an adjunct to rest and physical therapy for acute painful musculoskeletal conditions. Treatment with diclofenac can raise the chance of heart attack or stroke and of bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the stomach or intestines, and rarely chlorzoxazone has caused serious liver injury.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
