Volvib MR tablets ease mild to moderate pain and discomfort in acute painful musculoskeletal conditions. Main uses: relief of mild to moderate pain; relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis; relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis; relief of primary dysmenorrhea (period pain); reduction of fever.

Common side effects of Volvib MR Tablet include abdominal pain; dyspepsia (indigestion); nausea; constipation or diarrhoea; flatulence (gas); drowsiness. Get medical help at once if you notice bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the stomach or intestines; heart attack or stroke; severe liver damage or, rarely, serious liver injury from chlorzoxazone.

Each Volvib MR tablet contains Diclofenac 50 mg + Paracetamol 325 mg + Chlorzoxazone 250 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Volvib MR Tablet only as your doctor advises.

Diclofenac in the tablet works by reducing prostaglandins, the body substances that carry pain and swelling signals, so pain and inflammation ease. Paracetamol acts on the pain and heat centres to bring relief from aches and to lower fever. Chlorzoxazone helps with the discomfort of tight, painful muscles in acute musculoskeletal conditions, and its effect is thought to come from its sedative property.

Must not be used by patients with known hypersensitivity (such as anaphylactic reactions or serious skin reactions) to diclofenac or any component of this product. Must not be used by patients with a history of asthma, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs. Must not be used in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Must not be used together with any other medicine that contains paracetamol. Must not be used in late pregnancy (third trimester), and from 20 weeks of pregnancy it may be used only if a doctor specifically advises it; check with a doctor first if you have liver disease, drink alcohol regularly, are breastfeeding, or are taking the blood thinner warfarin.
